NAWABI CHICKEN KORMA


INGREDIENTS:

1. Chicken Pieces
2. Two medium sized onions
3. Salt
4. Chilli powder
5. Coriander powder
6. Ginger paste
7. Garlic paste
8. Cashew nuts


SPICE MIXTURE:

1. Take a small bowl and add 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 2-3 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp ginger paste and 1 tsp garlic paste. 
2. Add a little water to this and mix well. 
3. Keep this mixture aside. 


ONION PASTE:

1. Chop two onions and fry them until they become brown. Make sure you don’t burn them. 
2. Take a blender and add one cup of curd and fried onions to it. Add some cashew nuts as well to make the paste thick. Blend them well and make a smooth paste. 


PROCESS FOR QORMA: 

1. Take a pan and add 3 tbsp oil to it. Let it heat up. 
2. Add 3-4 cloves and 1-2 cardamom to it. 
3. Then add the SPICE MIXTURE we made in the beginning. 
4. Mix well on low flame. 
5. Then add chicken pieces and fry them nicely about 8-10 minutes until they become whitish brown. 
6. Add ONION PASTE  to it and keep stirring on low flame until it comes to a boil. 
7. Then add a cup of water to it and cook on high flame. When it starts to get a bit thick. Cover it and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes until thick.
