INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 tbsp water
- 1 cup sugar
- 120g wheat flour
- 3 Tbsp corn flour
- 4 Tbsp cocoa poder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large ripe mango
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- choco chips(optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns frothy and doubles in size. Add the butter and water to the mixture and combine well. Set aside.
Mix the wheat flour, cornflour, baking powder, salt and cocoa together over the eggs mixture and mix by the method of folding.
Make mango puree and add to the batter. You can also add a few choco chips.
Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake at 180º for 30-40 minutes. Using a knife, check if it comes out clean.
Allow to cool.
Now add mango slices around the cake and decorate.
