KALAKAND


INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups grated paneer
* 1 tin milkmaid 
* 2 tbsp milk powder
* ½ tsp cardamom/elachi powder
* 2 tsp chopped pista
* 1 tsp ghee
 
INSTRUCTIONS
* In a large pan take paneer and add milkmaid. 
* Add milk powder. 
* Mix and mash continuously till the mixture thickens.
* keep stirring on medium flame till milkmaid melts completely and the mixture starts to thicken.
* Add cardamom powder and mix well.
* Mix till the mixture starts to separate from the pan and forms a lump.
* Transfer the mixture to the ghee greased plate.
* Add chopped pistachios or any nuts.
* Refrigerate for 30 minutes. 
* Cut the kalakand into square pieces.
