INGREDIENTS
* 2 tsp oil
* 1 chopped garlic
* 1 inch chopped ginger
* 2 slit green chilli
* 1/4 cup chopped spring onion
* ¼ cup onions
* ½ cubed capsicum
* 1 tsp chilli sauce
* 2 tbsp tomato sauce
* 2 tbsp soy sauce
* 1 tbsp vinegar
* ¼ tsp salt
* 1 tbsp corn flour
* ¼ cup water
* 2 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp roasted sesame / til
INSTRUCTIONS
For frying potatoes:
1. Make fingers out of potatoes and boil them.
2. Keep removing the starch i.e froth that settles on the water surface.
3. Remove and keep aside in a bowl.
4. Add 2 tbsp cornstarch to these and 1 tbsp oil and mix well.
5. Fey until golden brown.
For honey chilli potatoes:
* In large bottomed pan, heat 2 tsp oil and saute garlic, ginger, 2 green chilli and spring onion.
* Saute onions and capsicum on high flame.
* Add chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and salt.
* Saute on high flame.
* Make a slurry of 1 tbsp corn flour in ¼ cup water and add it.
* Turn off the flame and add honey.
* Mix well.
* Add the fried potato and mix gently.
* Add more spring onions and roasted sesame seeds.
* Serve hot.
