INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sooji
1/2 cup ghee
3/4 cup sugar
3 cup water
3 tsp almond chopped
2 tsp raisins(Optional)
1/2 cup milk
PROCEDURE:
1. In a pan heat ghee. When it melts, add sooji on low flame. make sure the flame is very low.
2. Keep roasting it for 30 minutes while make sure the colour turns golden brown.
3. Add cashews and raisins to it. (You can add cashews and coconut as well)
3. In a different pan, boil sugar, milk and water.
4. When the sooji in pan 1 starts to leave some ghee, add the water mixture to it.
5. Stir continuously to prevent lump formation.
6. When the halwa starts to come away from the sides of the pan, turn off the gas flame.
7. Garnish with almonds and serve!!
